Program Components

STEM

Students will interactively explore various aspect of science an how to apply their knowledge in practical everyday scenarios. They will exposed to innovative technology and learn how to use it responsibly. They will have opportunities to collaborate as a team to create solutions to modern-day challenges.

Productions

Students will learn to produce their own video productions, including but not limited to identifying audiences, writing styles, script writing, planning, videography (intro, intermediate, advanced), editing, etc. Students will also learn about various equipment types (i.e. studio, location, etc.)

Computer Literacy

Students will be exposed to various aspects of computer technology, ranging from the mastery of basic office software tools, hardware maintenance, best practices, basics of cybersecurity, introduction to coding, and concepts of app development. Mastery may lead to a course in AI & Machine Learning.

Arts

Students will be able to choose from a variety of methods of expression, from creative writing, dance, music, painting, sculpture, sketching, animation, and graphic design.

Book Give Aways

Communities will arrange opportunities to distribute complimentary books to children of all ages in a book fair setting.

Tutoring/Mentorship

Communities will provide youth with complimentary access to help with studying skills, test preparation, and tutoring in a variety of subjects, along with tools to hold students accountable. Youth will also receive mentorship from adults that can provide positive guidance in areas they are lacking.

Mental Health Support

Students will have opportunities to address mental health needs, learn healthy habits to cope with challenges, adopt creative techniques to master conflict resolution, learn to respect personal boundaries and how to establish their own boundaries.

Virtual Library

Students will have free access to a virtual library which can be accessed from anywhere on their devices with the appropriate login credentials.

Financial Literacy

Students will learn how to adopt healthy and responsible financial habits from an early age, the basic structure of economics, the art of investments, how to make wise decisions with money, the dangers of debt, and how to contribute wisely to society.
